If you have can't seem to remember your password and are locked out of your account, simply follow these steps to reset your password.
Note: If the email you have used to sign up during the account registration is invalid (does not exist), you will not receive any email notifications from uTalk. It is advised that you verify your email upon registration to ensure you have entered the correct email and prevent any issues with account recovery. If you need help with your email, contact support (details at the bottom of the article).
If you have registered your account using Facebook and use the Login with Facebook option to access your account, you will have to reset your password using Facebook. For more information, please see the Facebook Help Centre https://m.facebook.com/help/213395615347144?helpref=related.
You must be logged out to send a password reset email.
- Select Login
- Select Login with email
- Select Forgotten Password
- Input your email and select Reset Password
You will then receive a 'uTalk Reset Password' email from uTalk. Make sure to check you spam/junk folders.
Note: Requesting a new Reset Password link will result in the previous links becoming invalid. Some email clients such as Mac's Mail app do not display the most recent email in an email chain, make sure to select the latest 'uTalk Reset Password' email.
Selecting RESET PASSWORD will redirect you to the reset password page. Simply enter the new password you wish to use with uTalk.
Your account is now ready!
